Zachary Andrew Silva

Zachary Andrew Silva, of Richmond VA, born on January 10, 1990, gained his wings on February 23, 2025.  He is survived by his wife, Hannan Silva and daughter, Sophie Silva, mother Sherrie Mawyer, father Doug Mawyer (Marlene), mother-in-law Kelly Tinsley, grandmother-in-law Judith Snelson, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  He is preceded in death by his nana Margaret Kloss, grandmother Alice Mawyer grandfather William Mawyer, and uncle David Falls. 

 

Zach married his wife Hannan in 2022 and welcomed their beautiful daughter on March 13, 2023.  He enjoyed spending time with his wife and daughter, going on walks, fishing, kayaking, four-wheeling, cooking, music, hanging out with his friends, and holidays with his family.  He was a Baltimore Orioles fan and enjoyed going to baseball games with his dad.  He was also a big Philadelphia Eagles fan.  Zach was an excellent chef and could whip up just about anything.  He had a good heart and was a good person.

 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on February 28, 2025, at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, in the mausoleum – 11220 Nuckols Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23059.  He will be greatly missed. 

 

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Richmond Coach & Cremation Service (8500 Staples Mill Road, Henrico, VA 23228) to be given for the growth, care, and education of his daughter, Sophie.
