
Vincent Joseph Moogalian
Vincent Joseph Moogalian, 67, devoted husband, father, brother, and friend passed away on December 14th, 2020 at his home in Petersburg, surrounded by his loving family. Vincent was born December 7, 1953 in Hopewell, VA and graduated from Hopewell High School in 1973. He is preceded in death by his father, Anthony H. Moogalian, two brothers, Michael D. Moogalian and Anthony P. Moogalian. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Moogalian, a daughter Jennifer M. Fisher, brother Jeffery Moogalian, mother Ruth Moogalian, and several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
Vincent learned the grocery business by working with his father as a child by standing on a milk crate ringing up customers, at Highland Park Meat Market. Later, at Airport Grocery and Moogalians Supermarket. After his father’s passing, he was a proud business owner of Sutherland Market for 23 years; during that time, he also operated Happy Hill Eggs for several years. Vincent enjoyed cookouts and playing pool with family and friends. He will be remembered by his witty sense of humor and his ability to pull a good practical joke. Celebration of life will be at his residence December 27th, 2020 from 4:00-7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice: 3916 S. Crater Rd., Petersburg, VA 23805
