Mrs. Teresa Jo Hacker (maiden name Booze) went home to be with the Lord on January 18, 2023 at the age of 74.  She was surrounded by her devoted family.

She is preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Bell and her father Joseph Roscoe Booze.

Teresa is survived by her loving partner of 18 years, James Dabney; daughters Darlene Hassell and Christine Walters; many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; her sister Donna and brother in-law Richard DiMurro; as well as nieces and nephews and a multitude of other family members and friends that were as close as family.

The family would like to thank Suncrest Hospice for the care and love provided.  We would also like to thank Bristol Hospice for all the accommodations and support for her care.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 2-4pm, with a reception to follow at Life Church. 8378 Atlee Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23116.  All are welcome to attend.
