Susan Marie Williams

RICHMOND – Susan Marie Stump Williams, 64, passed away very suddenly on Monday, July 6, 2021, in the comfort of her home after a brief hospitalization.  Born in Bon Air, Virginia, Susan grew up in Newport News and was educated at Christopher Newport University.  She was a longtime member of Hilton Christian Church and worked as a Computer Programmer and Analyst around Richmond for 30 years at companies such as Capital One and the Department of Social Services.  Susan met and married her husband of 15 years, Rick Fulton, through a blind date in Richmond on a fateful New Year’s Eve in 1999.  Susan will be fondly remembered as a loving and kind wife, mother and grandmother.  She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Rick Fulton, one daughter, Candice Williams Hansley and her husband, LaMar of Richmond, two step-daughters Tiffany Fulton of Richmond and Frazier Fulton of Richmond, one sister, Gina Stump of Newport News, one brother, Brian Stump and wife Dorrie of Newport News, 6 beautiful grandchildren, Skylar, Grayson, Oshawn, Autumn, Ayla and Amora, and many cousins in England and America.  Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Hampton and Mary Stump and first husband Craig Williams.  A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on July 30, 2021, at Richmond Coach & Cremation Service.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial donations to your favorite charity.  Arrangements by Richmond Coach & Cremation Service.
