Ruth Evans Moogalian, 89, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Sunday January 1, 2023. Ruth was born November 16, 1933 in Halifax County Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Woodson and Rosa Torian Evans. Ruth, affectionately known as “Little Grandma”, was a lover of anything outdoors. She loved her family, singing karaoke, dancing, palm reading, and crocheting. With LIttle Grandma, there was never a dull moment with lots of laughter, debates, and storytelling. She found compassion in her cats and her late dog Ringo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Harry Moogalian; her sons, Vincent J. Moogalian, Michael D. Moogalian, and Anthony P. Moogalian; her Grandson Bradley M. Moogalian; Her siblings Annie, Edna, Ada, Rosa, Emma, Dorothy, Woodson, Joe, Brantly, Willie, Sam.

She is survived by her son Jeffery M. Moogalian; Grandchildren Jennifer Moogalian-Fisher, Mary Irvin (Adam), Anthony J. Moogalian (Brittney), Michael D. Moogalian II, Holly Moogalian Yarosz (Keith), Maegen Moogalian, Nicole Moogalian, Christopher Moogalian, Jordan Moogalian, Gina Moogalian; Great Grandchildren Jacob Irvin (Blake), Sydney Irvin, Haley Moogalian, Braydon Yarosz, Colton Yarosz, Caden Moogalian, Reid Yarosz, Ella Yarosz Rafael Sweeney, Luca Sweeney; Great Great grandchild Adam Lee Irvin; & Many extended family and friends.

The family will accept friends and family on January 15, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Beacon Theatre 3rd floor ballroom, 401 N Main St, Hopewell, VA 23860.
