Raymond Lewis Carter Jr. 68 of Richmond, VA. Raymond gained his wings on Saturday March 19, 2022. Preceded in death by his
father Raymond L Carter Sr., mother Agnes V Carter, son Timothy C Carter, brothers George Ayers & John Ayers, sisters Gloria Turner & Brenda Bain. He was born December 3, 1953. Raymond loved street racing, country music & dancing. He drove tow trucks & did mechanical work. Raymond never knew a stranger, if you knew Ray (badly) you knew how kind hearted he was.
Survived by his wife of 25 years Julie F Carter, children: son Jamie Carter (Bridget), daughters Brittany Cope (Steven), Brandi Simmons, Christie Thomas, Melissa Thacker, and 11 grandkids, several nieces & nephews. A Viewing/ Service will be on March 24, 2022 at 3 PM at Richmond Coach Cremation Services at 8500 Staples Mill Road Henrico VA. 23228. Reception to be announced at services. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the wife Julie F. Carter at 9224 Perrymont Road, Richmond VA. 23237 to help pay for bills acquired and cremation.
