Patrick “Pat” Joseph Mooney

Patrick “Pat” Joseph Mooney, 67 of Midlothian Va. passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8th 2024 of unexpected sudden illness. Born in Long Island, N.Y. on September 17, 1957. Patrick is preceded in death by his loving parents, Thomas and Claire Mooney and sister Lesley.

Patrick is survived by his wife Deborah “Debbie” Mooney and Son, Brian Mooney , brother and sisters, Michael Mooney ( Karin ) Ayleen Tempera ( Jeff) and Leigh Fields (Jay). And many many loving nieces and nephews.  

Pat was a US Navy Veteran, a volunteer Fireman, and the sole proprietor of Lesco, Inc. (Lubrication Equipment Service Company). He also loved nature, camping, a great flannel shirt and bird watching. Music and dancing were part of his soul. Pat was a die-hard Giants and Mets fan. His strong Catholic faith and Trust in GOD stayed constant throughout his life. His robust laugh, sense of humor and smiling eyes will keep him a legend in our hearts forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 7th from 2:00 until 6pm at Southbeach House, 13923 Hull Street Rd. N Midlothian, VA 23112. This was Pat’s favorite place where his best of friends became his extended family.
