Patricia Ann Sims (Pat), 68, Received her angel wings July 21st, 2023. 

She was preceded in death by her son, David Sims; Daughter in-law, Cindi Sims; Half-Brother, James Caso; Aunt and Uncle, Ray and Alice Davis; and her parents, Frederick Alsterberg and Gladys Pauline Emme . 

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Ronnie Sims; Her three boys, Lee Sims, Steven Sims(Reva), Adam Sims(Lindsey); Her three adoring granddaughters, Raven, Emmie, and Kayla. And her two brothers, Donnie Alsterberg(Bethany), and Richard Alsterberg. There are many other cousins, family, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Patricia was born on November 7th, 1954. She was born and raised in the small city of Clarksburg, West Virginia. 

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandma. Pat enjoyed reading, cooking, and sitting outside on their porch. She loved being surrounded by family and was the ultimate host of every special occasion and holiday. She was a stay at home mom for most of her life which is just what she wanted, she loved her kids and loved all of her family even more. Pat loved her granddaughters and was all of their number one fans. She loved her family fiercely and would have done anything for any of them.   

We are saddened that Patricia has now bid a farewell to this world. She was loved and cherished by all who were lucky enough to know her. Pat was everyone’s mom, and was definitely everyone’s friend. Though she may no longer be with us she will never be forgotten.
