Ovetta P. Doughty of Richmond, VA. was born March 30, 1949 and passed March 6, 2025 at the age of 75. She attended Armstrong High School and later worked in the mental health field as a nurse. Ovetta was preceded in death by her sisters Faustina P. Buck, Edwina P. Macklin and her niece Tami S. Smith. She is survived by her husband Clifton Doughty Jr; One daughter Nicole McDaniel; Grandchildren MoNika Lucess (Cirdale Lucess), Ja’Heam McDaniel and Zy’Hier McDaniel; her loving sister Carol Smith; a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Memorial service for family and friends will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Richmond Coach & Cremation Service, Inc. 8500 Staples Mill Rd. Henrico, VA 23228
