Miriam Brown
Miriam Brown, age 88 of Chesterfield, VA., departed this world to be with the Lord on 10/23/22, surrounded by her family. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Lee and Virginia Crump, husbands James Proctor, Paris Collins, William Price, Ronald Brown and great grandson Joseph Proctor. Miriam is survived by her children Robert Proctor, Michael Proctor, Brenda Proctor-Peregoy, Stacy Collins-Coleman, daughter in law Lisa Proctor and son in laws Michael Peregoy and Greg Coleman, grandchildren Robert Proctor Jr., David Proctor, Kristopher Proctor and wife Kelly Proctor, Ashley Garrett, Sierra Wingfield, Amanda Brady, great grandchildren Elaine Proctor, Olivia Proctor and Rebel Love.
Miriam loved life and spending time with her family. She loved the holidays and enjoyed times of talking, laughing and telling stories of her youth and cherished her children. Her passions in life were playing the piano and worshipping the Lord. She began piano lessons at the age of 4 and continued throughout her life perfecting her musical God given talent. She played for many churches over the years, including God’s Storehouse Baptist Church for the last 20 years. Miriam lived a long and fulfilled life, she earned her spot in heaven and is now at peace reaping her rewards. Miriam and her spunky, beautiful personality was loved greatly, will be missed immensely and will never be forgotten. May you rest in peace “lady in red”.
The family will receive friends on November 2, 2022 from 4 – 6 pm and the funeral service will be held on November 3, 2022 at 2 pm. Both events will be held at God’s Storehouse Baptist Church located at 5007 Jessup Road, Richmond, VA 23234
