We met Meg and Mel on our trip to Cuba. An instant friendship was formed and we have been so fortunate to have spent time with them on their many trips to NY. Our plans to travel together to Nashville were halted by Covid but our friendship endured and we treasure our times together. We feel like we know her son, daughter in law and granddaughters she spoke of all of them so highly. She will truly be missed. Sending love to all the family and her beloved Meg as they mourn Mel, a true force of nature and the center of fun. Her joy was infectious and although we knew better than to speak to her in the mornings on our trip we so enjoyed many conversations. She will be missed.

I share alot of good memories with Melanie when we were both starting families. She was a wonderful mother and she loved her grandchildren. Very sorry for your loss.
