Mary “Bonita” Moore (1951-2024)

Appropriately, born in Las Vegas, Bonita was the life of the party and approached life as a daily celebration.  Vivacious, energetic, bold and caring; Bonita never met a stranger. Her Bailey Bridge WaWa family loved her kindness and motherly advice.  Her legacy is her love for all.  Bonita was the epitome of the most beautiful Texas rose and will forever be precious to her family.

Bonita was preceded in earthly death by her only son and apple of her eye, Todd Winston Erwin, who has welcomed her to heaven.  She is survived by her pride and joy, Michele Erwin-Shaffer, and son-in-law, Mike Shaffer.

I loved Bonita like a sister. She was beautiful inside and out! To know her was to love her. She loved her family and friends unconditionally and shared so much of herself with them. She will be missed by all who knew her. Go rest high on that mountain, sweet girl!🙏❤️🙏

A great sister-in-law who can now be in heaven with her son Todd, her sister Terry, mother Mary and dad Bill. I always enjoyed seeing Bonita at WAWA for my daily cup of joe. We shared a lot of life adventures together, you will be missed Sis!

To my Mom and my best friend,

Oh the times we shared together; girls trips, a million lunches, parties, concerts and our love for The Lord.

I already miss my partner in crime. I still cannot believe you are gone. Your were in a tremendous amount of pain. You are in heaven now with your baby boy Todd, your mom, dad and sister. My what a time you are having now with your beautiful white robe.

I love you more than you will ever know and you are deeply missed. You are always in my heart. As we used to say “I love you the mostest!!!”
