Linda Wood Lacy

Linda Wood Lacy, of Louisa, Virginia, passed on April 15th, 2025. She was born on January 6th, 1948. Linda is survived by her loving husband Bodie Lacy, her daughter Wendy Katrancha (Mark), son Doug Turney, step-son Blair Lacy (Jennifer), four grandchildren Katelyn Ruff (James), Joseph Patterson, Amelia Lacy, Emma Lacy, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

Her entire professional career was spent in civilian service to the US Navy at Dahlgren, VA. Over a 34 year career, she rose from a payroll clerk to managing the entire facility’s transportation services.

 

Linda enjoyed time with family and friends in the home she shared with Bodie and their precious pup Maggie.

 

We will celebrate this beautiful life of a much loved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend on Monday April 28th, 2025 at noon at the Betty Queen Community Center, 522 Industrial Drive, Louisa, VA
