Charlie was the first man I met at the firehouse at Lombardy and Broad sts. and 9 years later he broke me in as a new Lieutenant at # 1. He was a good God fearing family man who loved baseball and the fire service. Rest easy Brother.
Over all the years I have known Charles, there never was a time that he was not smiling. His generosity of spirit was a gift he freely gave, and which I gladly accepted. With Charles gone from this life, there is less light in the world.
