Kimberly Jeter Mitchell

MITCHELL, Kimberly Jeter, 52, of Mechanicsville, Va., passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Bart; daughter Sydney; son, Mason; stepsons James and Hunter; mother, Pauline Jeter; father, James Jeter II (Denise); sisters, Denise and Shelby Jeter; Jade J. Hailey (Jessie); brother James Jeter III (Carolyn), and many other relatives and friends. Kim was a 1986 graduate of Henrico High School and received a Business Administration degree from Longwood University in 1990. For the past 29 years, she was the proud second-generation owner of Jeter’s Carpet & Flooring. Kim loved spending time with her family, going to the beach, and being active in her church.   She will always be remembered for her smile and infectious laugh.  A celebration of life will be held on January 23, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Lebanon United Methodist Church, 8492 Peaks Rd, Hanover VA.
