Kenneth E. Yeaman
Kenneth E. Yeaman, age 88 went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2022.Kenneth was born on January 2, 1934 in Richmond, VA to Margaret Tunstall Yeaman and James H. Yeaman. Kenneth received his Bachelors degree in Chemistry from the University of Richmond. He received his Masters degree from Union Theology Seminary. After graduating from University of Richmond, Kenneth married Carol Turner in 1957 and has seven children he is survived by: Susan Y. Reid (John), Stephen Yeaman, Kenneth Yeaman Jr, Kristen Y. Mucci (Joseph), Pamela Y. Kennedy (Wayne), William Edward Daniel Yeaman (Rebecca) and Ellen Y. Webb (Adam). He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren: John David, Colin, Bradford, Lauren, Kenneth Bryant, Benjamin, Matthew, Andrew, Christopher, Faith, Katherine, Matthew, Riley, Jacob, Logan, Emily, Ethan and Madalen. 3 great granddaughters: Savannah, Charlotte, Macie and one great grandson on the way. Kenneth was predeceased in death by his parents, his infant son, John David Yeaman and his brother James H. Yeaman Jr. Kenneth served in the Army during the Korean War. Over the years, he held many different jobs from teaching High School Chemistry to owning different businesses as an entrepreneur and later in life, he retired from the mortgage industry where he worked alongside two of his sons. In his younger years he loved playing cards, shooting pool and was an excellent dancer, he was especially fond of the Jitterbug. Kenneth’s remains rest at Richmond Coach Funeral home on staples Mill Rd. His funeral service will be held at 2 pm on the 22nd of November at Virginia Veterans Cemetery Amelia, in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Dementia Society of America or Virginians for Veterans. The family wishes to thank all the caretakers who assisted with their dad over the last two years. Ken will be greatly missed by his family and loved ones.
