Iner Christ Anderson III

Iner Christ Anderson III (Sugar Bear, Fluffy), 66, of Ashland, Va. passed away on January 9th, 2023.  He was born October 1, 1956. He is survived by his loving wife and caretaker of 29 years Crystal. He is also survived by two daughters, Michelle DeBardeleben (Nathan), Casey Portman (Paul); two step sons, Travis Hardy (Maegan), Thomas Hardy (Sarah); two brothers, Bobby and Chris (Vera) Anderson; two sisters, Inez Spence (Lee) who was very devoted to her brother and Maria Proffitt. Also eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He loved his grandchildren Ellie and Silas as they always made him smile. His heart was filled with love and joy when he saw them. He is also survived by his sweet kitty Gabrielle (Gabby). He was proceeded in death by his parents, Iner Christ and Agnes Rodgers Anderson Jr.

If you knew Iner you knew that he always wanted to have a good time no matter where he was. It was always an adventure being with him.

His loves in life we’re going to the lake with his family and friends, singing karaoke or at least trying too, even with his buddy and friend Matt, who he got in trouble with at Food Lion. Lee and him tried to sing together while having their favorite beverage, having fun and enjoyed entertaining us. He loved his beer, pizza and Chicken Chow Mein.

He loved the beach and restoring his vans. Going fishing and hunting and the time they went fishing and both chase lounges broke and left them on their butts sitting on the pier with Woody (Hunter), and all the hunting at A.P. Hill. He loved people and going and seeing new and different places. Iner worked and retired from Commonwealth Painting and Decorating for 20 years.

Iners Celebration of Life will be at the Ashland Moose where he dedicated the last five years of his life trying to make a difference on February 11, 2023 between 1:00-4:00.

The family would like to thank the Bon Secours Hospice nurses who helped his transition into the loving arms of our God and Richmond Coach and Cremation for their excellent care.
