Dwayne Sheldon Jones, Jr. departed this life unexpectedly on June 11,2023 at age 38. He was born November 21,1984 in Henrico, Virginia to Dwayne Sheldon Jones Sr. and Denise Lewis Jones who both preceded him in death.

He was the second born out of three children and he graduated from Henrico High School in 2003.

During the summer breaks, Dwayne started working in the asphalt construction family business alongside his father at the young age of 12 years old.

After graduating high school, Dwayne began working at a warehouse company and continued working various warehouse jobs for years. He was often described as a diligent person, and hard worker by fellow co-workers.

Even though Dwayne struggled with some areas in his life he was often described as a compassionate person with a great sense of humor. He was extremely protective of his family.

One of his favorite past times was watching football and basketball; especially his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. He loved listening to music and enjoyed watching movies. Dwayne loved animals especially all of the family pet cats that he absolutely adored, some of which he rescued and gave a home.

He is survived by two sisters Larita D. Jones, Erica Threadgill (Emmanuelle), three nephews Jonah Threadgill, Ezra Threadgill, and Chalen D. Burns, one surviving grandmother Bernice Henley, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
