Courtney Dayle Allen

September 17, 1994 – August 15, 2024

Courtney Dayle Allen, 29, passed away on August 15, 2024, in her childhood home after a long battle with addiction. Courtney’s unexpected passing has devastated her loving family and friends, leaving a deep wound on all their hearts. We take comfort in knowing she was a beautiful angel, who is now in God’s hands.  

Born September 17, 1994, in Midlothian, VA, Courtney was a 2013 graduate of Clover Hill High School. She was a beautiful, caring, artistic soul that enjoyed expressing herself through visual art. She was an expert hula hoop dancer and had many creative tattoos. She could dress in any fashion accompanied with a flawless, matching makeup look. Courtney was a Hello Kitty enthusiast, loved shopping and made beautiful handmade cards. Her magnetic personality touched the lives of every person she encountered, including her supportive significant other, Jamie Bailey.

Courtney is survived by her loving Mother, Robyn Corbin Allen; Brothers, Lawrence Todd Allen (Carrie Allen) and Dustin Corey Allen (Megan Updike); Grandma, Frances Allen; Aunts, Dale Couch and Diane Wall; Many cousins and her special friend Helen “Granny” Hess.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Lawrence Keith Allen; Grandmothers, Wanda “Nan” Corbin and Pat Allen; Grandfathers, Harry Jr. Corbin and Lawrence Jerry Allen; Uncle Jim Corbin; Aunts, Anita Corley and Kathy McLean.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Spring Run Vineyards, 10700 Spring Run Road, Chesterfield, VA 23832. Friends and family of Courtney are welcome to attend.  Please bring a side dish or dessert to share at the reception following the celebration.

Courtney’s beautiful spirit will live in our hearts forever.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.  Her laugh and cute dimples will never be forgotten.
