Clint Conway James
Clint Conway James, born on February 28, 1961, peacefully passed away on February 9, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his devoted wife, Wanda James and step-father Alfred Acree Sr.
He leaves behind a legacy cherished by his daughters, Casey Lynn Marsh (Reginald Marsh II) and Marica James, as well as six beloved grandchildren: Quariah Taylor, Nisan Taylor, Ajoah James, Kumarie Marsh, Reginald Marsh III, and Omari White.
Clint’s memory will forever be cherished by his siblings: Lucinda Johnson, Estell Swain, Kay Burnett, Frederick Acree, Alfred Acree Jr., Virginia Canaday, Myrtle Melvin, Lucretia Starrade, Thomas Taylor, Earl Taylor Jr., Rodney Piggott, and Corey Taylor, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Lucille Acree, father James E. James, step-daughter Tierra Taylor, close family member Earl Taylor, and several siblings including Mark James, Donald Delaney, Carlton Pierce, and James Delaney.
Clint was born in New Kent and received his education in the New Kent public school system before furthering his studies at St. Paul College. He dedicated his life to Jehovah God on January 1, 1978, and his faith remained a guiding light throughout his life. Clint pursued a career as a professional truck driver, where his dedication and work ethic were evident to all who knew him.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Clint was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his faith and family. He found joy in serving Jehovah and cherished the moments spent with his loved ones. Clint’s laughter, love, and wisdom will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM Friday February 16, 2024 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. 2801 Mechanicsville Tpke, Richmond, VA 23223.
