Abigail “Gail” Phillips
Abigail “Gail” Phillips 72, ended her journey on May 17th, 2024. She was a hardworking, funny, kindhearted soul who gave to everyone she met. She passed away peacefully while in transit on an Amtrak train coming back from vacation to her favorite place Daytona Beach, FL. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Portland, OR in 2006.
Gail raised 4 children in Florida and was a very dedicated Mother. She enjoyed nature and wanted to save all animals including sea turtles. Gail touched everyone she met with her wit, charm, and smile. She was dedicated to volunteer work for 18 years at a nonprofit called Street Roots in Portland, OR; which served the homeless. She woke up every day to feed the homeless and less fortunate.
Gail was cremated and will be laid to rest in Massachusetts where all her ancestors were from, she had a very long beautiful history with her ancestors being the founders of Massachusetts. She is in heaven now with her husband, mother, siblings and son. Her absence will be deeply felt as she was such a bright light in this world taken far too soon. She is survived by 3 daughters and many grandchildren.
