Judith McClelland

Judith Strawmyer McClelland, 67, of Chester, VA, passed peacefully on July 26, 2020 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, James E and Nancy France Strawmyer. Family was very important to Judy, and she loved being a grandparent; she never missed a performance, sporting event or family celebration. She loved to travel and camp and appreciated the natural beauty of the outdoors. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, David; children, Rick, Meghan (Robb) and Sarah; grandchildren, Maggie (Brian), Alyssa, Tabby, DJ, Jacob, Nancy and Colton; great grandchildren, Oliver and Paisleigh; siblings Sue (Neil) Stewart, Kitty Papallo, Jim (Jayme) Strawmyer, and David (Kathleen) Strawmyer. For all who knew and loved her, she leaves behind a legacy of generosity, kindness, humor and love of family. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
