Natalia Negai

Natalia Negai, a loving mother, and a wise mentor has passed away Friday, July 24th, 2020. She was 59 years young.

She is survived by her three sons, Dmitry, Yazeed, Zaid, and her older sister Nadia. She is predeceased by her grandmother Daria of Simferopol, her father Anatoli Negai and her mother Mirzie Negai.

Natalia was born in Yangiyul, Uzbekistan – USSR at the early morning of October 30th, 1960. She was a scholar in medicine, medieval history, and political science, she is remembered most for her radiating kindness and positivity.

Natalia devoted her adult life towards her 3 sons, she was a resilient survivor, and an adventurous traveler who persevered through the hardships of a migrant life fortunate to be born and growing up in Uzbekistan and later Russia (USSR), getting married in Jordan, migrating to Ukraine, and finally the United States.

In her journey she generously helped countless strangers crossing her path, shared her invaluable wisdom, and always surrounded herself with a spirit of laughter and celebration. She will be deeply missed by her sons, friends, and everyone who knew her.

A Funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 28th, 2020 at Hollywood Cemetery, 412 S Cherry St, Richmond, VA 23220. Minister Steve Flowers will officiate. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered at 9266 Three Chopt Rd Apt B, Henrico, VA 23229.
