John D’Amico

John D’Amico, 65, died unexpectedly on Oct 3, 2024. He passed peacefully in his sleep. He was born 7/14/1959 in Queens, New York. He was the eldest son of RaeAnn and Reynaldo D’Amico. 

 

John graduated High School in 1977 before serving in the Navy. After his military service, John had a very diverse career as a mechanic. He was a business owner with his spouse, Denise D’Amico. They regularly enjoyed fishing, boating, and spending time with their friends, family and grandchildren. 

 

He leaves behind his beloved wife Denise D’Amico of 43 years, his 4 children; Kristin Wood, Anthony D’Amico, Angela Tracy, and Dana Copeland and 5 Grandchildren; Michael, Jacob, Kai, Charlotte, and James; all of which he was very proud of. He leaves behind his cherished companion, Miss Penny Lane (a small dachshund who went with him everywhere) and his younger brother Andrew D’Amico and many good friends. 

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1pm on Saturday October 12 at Richmond Coach & Cremation Service located at 8500 Staples Mill Rd, Henrico, VA 23228.
