Lois Marie Marshall

Lois Marie Marshall, 76, passed peacefully on July 31, 2024, in Richmond, VA.

She is survived by her children Jacqueline Woodson, Carlton Marshall (Heather), and Pamela Martin (Josh); grandchildren Corey Marshall (Skylar), Hunter Woodson (Lainey Mountjoy), Tyler, Ethan, and Kaylee Martin; brothers Ronnie and Larry Sims (Sherreé); and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Marshall; mother, Dorothy R. Sims; father, Carlton L. Sims; sister, Linda Kendall; and infant brother David Sims.

Lois was born on August 4, 1947, in Louisa, VA.

She married Jack on August 27, 1966, whom she met while working at Colonial Store. As her children grew up, she returned to the workforce and was employed by Lawyers Title.

In her retirement, she enjoyed watching movies with her grandkids and sharing meals with her family. She was an avid Nascar fan, and her favorite drivers were the Earnhardts, Dale Sr., and Jr. She also loved decorating for every holiday, the Andy Griffith Show, and chocolate ice cream.

She will be greatly missed.
