“Sleep in peace” Gavin
“Beyond belief that Gav and I spoke the evening before, (23rd June) on my birthday.
Total shock that l’d lose my first-born son, the day after my birthday. I attended to Gav’s birth in the back seat of
our brand new, 1968 Dodge Charger. Impossible to think of Gavin, without thinking of his unique entry into this world.
Gavin was born with an indelible smile on his face.
Nothing about Gavin’s unanticipated departure makes sense. His indelible smile remains in my ongoing memory of my beloved son.”
I miss you my friend. I still cannot believe you are gone.
I thank God that I was able to meet Gavin and have him laugh with me, but probably mostly laugh at me. Love you brother. You will be dearly missed!!
