Marian Roselle Breeden, 94, of Richmond, VA, passed away peacefully at home from natural causes on May 20, 2024.  She was born on June 3, 1929, to Ramon W. Breeden, Sr., and Audrey Mildred (Parkinson) Breeden. 

Marian attended John Marshall High School.  She was an undergraduate at Longwood College and received her MBA from VCU.  She taught business classes at Douglas Freeman High School.  She was an avid lifelong sailor and spent many days and nights on her sailboat, Crackerjack, singlehandedly sailing around the Chesapeake Bay, in regattas, and part of flotillas.  She was also a lifelong cat lover, in addition to a dedicated Christian Scientist, a reader in the Second Church of Christ Scientist, and loved spending time at her home on the North River in Mathews County, VA. 

She is predeceased by her mother, Audrey Parkinson Breeden, her father, Ramon Wilson Breeden, Sr., and her close friend and first cousin, Barbara Parkinson Bowles.  She is survived by her brother, Ramon Wilson Breeden, Jr., his wife, Lucy Breeden, her nephew, C. Torrey Breeden, and her cat, Barney.
