Rita Oakley (Didlake) passed away on February 20, 2024, in Chesterfield, Virginia. She was born on October 31, 1959, in Richmond, VA. Rita was a beloved mother survived by her daughter, Courtney Cole, and son, Barry Cole Jr. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Barry Cole Sr.

 

Rita Oakley was a dedicated dispatcher for over 30 years. Her commitment to her career was unwavering, and she served her community with professionalism and care. 

 

Those who knew Rita remember her as a strong, caring, generous, and down-to-earth individual. Her unique personality left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Rita will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
