Joan W. Olinger passed on to be with the Lord, December 5, 2023.  She is proceeded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Olinger and her mother, Elizabeth Whaley.  She is survived by her daughter Kim E. Richardson; her grandchildren, Jennifer L. Daniel, Edward C. Diggs, William C. Diggs, Destry J. Richardson, and her granddaughter in law, Claudia L. Diggs.  She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Hunter C. Briel, Elizabeth A. Briel, Kendel M. Diggs, William K. Diggs, and Josephine E. Diggs.  

Joan worked for the telephone company for 36 years back when it was C&P.  She was a supervisor.  She was a member of the Seven Day Adventist Church.  She loved their get togethers and sending cards to everyone.  She was a kind soul and open her heart to everyone.  She was loved greatly and will be missed deeply.  On the 12th of December, she would have been 88 years old.
