September 27, 1972—September 24, 2023

Ben Byington passed away peacefully on September 24, 2023, after a short illness at Elizabeth Adam Crump Health and Rehab where he had been a resident.

Ben was predeceased by his father, Nathan Byington, mother, Sharon Buck and sister, Tammy Fowlkes.  He is survived by one brother, Kevin Byington and one sister, Wendy Cottrell.  Ben was a very loving uncle of 3 nieces, Meghan Whittington, Jamie Gregory and Olivia Fowlkes and 2 nephews, Nicholas Williams and Hunter Byington as well as 9 great nieces and nephews.  Ben was surrounded by the love and comfort of all of them and his extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins, a special sister-in-law, Heather Byington and so many friends at Elizabeth Crump.

Ben loved driving trucks and animals but most of all he loved his family and friends. He will be missed beyond words but will be forever in our hearts and always remembered for his loyalty and kindness.

The family would like to extend a very special thanks to all the nurses and staff and Elizabeth Crump and Ascend Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to Ben and our family.  The love and compassion they have shown is that of angels.

A private service will be held for Ben. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Elizabeth Adam Crump Health and Rehab.
