Marquis T. Jeffries, 35, of Henrico, departed this life August 17, 2022. He was born on September 28, 1986. For each year of his young life, Marquis lived every moment to the fullest, always had a smile on his face, and a kind word for those that crossed his path. He had a passion for music, loved being around friends and family, and was bound to make you laugh any second of the day. He attended and graduated from Henrico County Public Schools.

Marquis is survived by his mother, Sharon Lumpkin; step-father, Michael Lumpkin; sister, Meshayla Lumpkin; maternal grandparents, Earl & Vanessa Jeffries; step-grandmother, Marie Lumpkin with her devoted friend, Theodore Fortune; aunt, Wanda James (Clint James); and uncle, Earl Jeffries Jr. (Taundwa Jeffries). He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Hardimon; sister, Malayshia Lumpkin; and maternal grandmother, Cynthia Jeffries. He leaves to cherish his memory a host of other family and close friends.
