Shawn David Hastings

Shawn David Hastings, 35, a loving and dedicated father to Aria (6), was tragically taken from this earth on April 30, 2022. A lover of photography, listening to trees, and collecting rocks with his daughter, Shawn was a master at seeing beauty in ordinary things. Shawn grew up in Germany with his parents, David and Cathy-Lee, and older brother, Robert. To his nephews and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, Shawn was known for keeping with the family traits of an impeccable quick wit and constant smile. To his friends, he was known as a generous and fiercely loyal friend who always had a good prank up his sleeve. A celebration of Shawn’s life will be held Saturday, June 11 at Crossroads Church in Fredericksburg at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the GoFundMe, “A Life For Aria” in support of Shawn’s daughter.
