Jeffrey A. Mays

Jeffrey Allen Mays, 67, of Richmond, VA, born August 26, 1955, in Muskogee, OK, passed onto his heavenly home, on January 21, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Godfrey Mays, father, Robert Maxwell Mays, and granddaughter, Trinity Annelise Sokolowski. 

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Suzan Mays, a son, Eric Mays, and two daughters, Katrina (TJ) Sokolowski, and Rachel (Kris) Kurtz, and four grandchildren, Taylor Sokolowski, Kaitlyn Sokolowski , Vance Kurtz, and Olivia Kurtz.  He grew up in Austin, TX, with parents and two sisters, Toni (Mays) Turnipseed and Debbie (May) Hegenderfer.  He had lived in Richmond, VA for the past 23 years, and was a Master Gardener, with particular interest in aquaponics and hydroponic gardening.
