Charles “Chuck” B. Nance, Jr.

Charles “Chuck” B. Nance, Jr. died unexpectedly at Henrico Doctors Hospital in Richmond, VA at the age of 67.

Charles is survived by his wife, Roberta Nance, daughter, Christina Wade, son-in-law, Ronneil Wade, daughter, Amanda Nance and son, Jeremy Nance.  Along with several grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by father, Charles B. Nance, Sr., mother Ada Vernard Cooper Nance and sister, Deborah Verell.

Charles was born on February 22, 1954 in Halifax, NC.  He was raised in Virginia Beach, VA and attended Kempsville High School.  He married Roberta in 1983 and had two daughters.  They relocated to Richmond in 1993.

Charles was a skilled master mechanic in HVAC until he became disabled and retired. He was a unique individual who loved music and was passionate about his guitar. He would do anything for anyone.

A celebration of life has been scheduled for Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Richmond Coach & Mortuary Service, 8300 Staples Mill Road, Henrico, VA 23228, 804-514-0548. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Chuck’s life.  In lieu of flowers, there was a GoFund Me created to assist the family with final expenses.
