Dorothy Ann Jackson

Dorothy Ann Jackson was born January 9, 1954 in Rockville, VA.  To the late Elizabeth Jackson, she was one of eight children.  As she grew up she moved to Richmond, VA and became a CNA & started a family of her own.  Dorothy was a matriarch of her immediate family and she loved her role of being grandma.  She loved her sodas, sweets, soap operas, and listening and dancing to 60’s/70’s music.  

She gave birth to daughters:  Felicia Jackson, LaTonya Jackson, and son Levar Jackson.  She was preceded in death by her two brother’s:  Clarence Jackson, and Criss Jackson, and her sister Rosa Lee Jackson.  She’s survived by her sister’s:  Kathy Jackson and Janice Jackson, and brother Tommy Jackson.

Left to honor her memory are her grandchildren:  Tyquan Ballard (wife Takaya Ballard), Taishon Ellis, Teiara Ballard, Shamarte’ White, Nyasia Taylor, Varteja Taylor, Scott Clark, Levar Taylor, Yasmine Prior, Jasmine Pryor, Devartrey Jckson, and Robert Pryor Jr.  Her great grandchildren:  Ta’Riah Campbell, My’Nasia Paige, Naseim Green, and Aiden Taylor.  Dorothy Jackson will be truly missed by the Jackson family as well as friends.  We love you, Grandma.
