Dorothy Drake

Dorothy Dube Drake of Chesterfield, VA, a retired Registered Nurse, died Tuesday, July
20, 2021 at the Johnston Willis Hospital in Richmond, VA. She was 80.
The daughter of the late Julius and Celia Dube, she was born December 30, 1940 in
Glens Falls, NY.

Dot had worked at various health care facilities in Plattsburgh, NY, Salem, NH and
Virginia Beach, VA before retiring and moving to Vero Beach, FL and more recently to
Richmond, VA. She enjoyed traveling with her friends, especially with her friend John Carley
from California.

Survivors include her sons, James Drake of Bedford, NH, Paul Drake and his wife
JoAnne of Virginia Beach, VA and Jonathan Drake and his wife Barbara of Powhatan, VA; four
grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Grossman and her husband Leslie of Boynton Beach FL; and
several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Walter E. Drake preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be private.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Richmond Coach & Cremation Service.
