This is an obituary that I never expected to write. It is with heavy heart that I write this to say that on May 18, 2021, Edward Lee Porter Jr. aka Dusty, finally found peace with our savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn. He is survived by his sister, Shannon (Shawn), Step-Dad Neil (Martha), and several cousins. Dusty was well loved and will be missed dearly. Dusty was an incredible musician whose biggest passions in life were music and drums. Dusty is now free and playing his drums in heaven. I have heard some say, Rock In Peace Dusty. I do encourage everyone to share a positive Dusty story along with any condolences you wish to leave for the family.
